South Bay Wine Tours
Santa Cruz Mountains - The soil and climate of this appellation closely resemble the Burgandy region in France, creating the perfect environment for producing world renowned pinot noirs and chardonnays. The wineries we visit today are smaller than some of the Big Names in Napa and Sonoma but offer friendly and knowledgeable hosts, eager to share their wines and knowledge with us. Sit back and relax as we ride up the steep winding roads through the Mountain. Your only task for the day is to enjoy the gorgeous scenery while leaving the driving to us.
Santa Clara Valley - Beauty in our backyard! Just a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley, these wineries offer tranquil moments and breathtaking views of surrounding hills. Rich in Italian character, most of the vineyards are still family owned, passed down four and five generations, still offering high quality product at affordable prices. Pack a picnic basket and take pleasure in one of the valley's many panoramic settings.
Cienega Valley - Join us while we journey further south to the Cienega Valley located between Santa Cruz and Monterey. Just 25 miles from Monterey Bay, this area provides cool ocean breezes and plenty of sun. This climate mixed with soils traced with granite and limestone, create an ideal medium for grape growing. One of our favorite wineries also houses the region's largest olive grove. 5,000 olive trees, directly imported from Italy, are harvested and pressed into organic olive oils with flavors you're sure to love.
